Okay, after what happened the other day I figured I'd Atleast do a small review. For starters we all know lighted nocks are nice to have but expensive. They do however break very easily. For the money paid they could make them better on sturdiness. Anyways, I was shooting a week and a half ago at a pond. Across the pond about 100 yards was pest that I shot at. I narrowly missed, believe it or not! I never went to look for the arrow thinking it had gotten lost. A week and two days go by and my buddy is fishing the pond. At dark he sees "green eyes" staring at him! Lol, yeah my arrow and its nock! Exactly 9 days had gone by and the nock was still super bright! Just thought I'd share!
I wont use anything else , i've been friends with Curt and Eric Price for years , good friends of mine .
My only problem is that I can't afford to keep purchasing them at $11 a nock when all I get is one pass through on a deer with them! Lol
see , believe it or not i've never had any trouble with them even with a pass through , infact i purposely used the same one nock on last years Spring Turkey , 2 Doe's and a Buck this past season , i would of used it again but i lost in in the ground on my Kentucky Buck , i'm using the lighted Blazer nocks the Bohning double lock nocks , there not sold in stores or on there site , there only sold with there Lumenarrows , since i'm hooked up with Dale Voice of Bohning and the Lumenok Boys they let me use them , i wont use any other lighted nock , that Blazer Lighted Nock is the tits .
Tracer Nocks by Easton My archery shop sold me on these Tracer nocks by Easton. I was impressed by how they worked meaning they come on when you shoot the arrow by a small magnet (small but powerful) that you mount on your riser. You can also put the arrow nock to sleep with this magnet. Long story short the next day I was trying them out and the magnet fell off the bow into some tall grass. Should have stuck with what I wanted in the first place. Lumenok!!!!!!
Being using the Tracers for 3 years now and never had a problem. I have had a couple lumenock no light up. There is a way not to pay $11 or $8 for them. You can make them yourself. There is instructions on the net on how to make them.
I was on the fence about trying these nocks, after reading this I think I have to try them. All I hear is great things about them.
