    really sorry to hear about this, and I'm assuming it's on Private Land which would make it even worse..no matter where the stands were set up still doesn't give anyone the right to take them imho.. hate saying this but things aren't working in our society today, the liberal agenda and peoples right's and all that crap only help those who do stuff like this, not the hard working responsible people

    Thieves are the main reason I "run and gun" with my stand/sticks nowadays. Like you guys I have had too many ladder stands and hang-on stands stolen thru the years. Plus, I seem to have much better luck hunting now 'cause the deer are not patterning me as quickly 'cause I don't hunt more than a couple times from the same tree. The only times I leave the stand and sticks in the tree is when I hunt and evening and plan on returning to hunt the same set-up the next AM. Have not had a nocturnal thief......yet.
