    Only thing I would change its I bought a 6 inch Hand wheel and should have bought a 10" but still is a great Bow Press.

    Aside from the welding, how involved is this? And also, what did you spend if you don't mind me asking? I'm pretty mechanically inclined and a tinkerer and I have some welding buddies so I'd like to give this a shot.

    Looking to make a bow press, can anyone tell me what is the purpose of the thumb screws on the end of the "fingers"?

    to adjust to the angles of different limbs.
