Have you tried our DIY skins yet? They last a whole lot longer than the commercially built targets and you can cover over the skins in short order.

Might be an oversight. They do need a DIY section on this forum.

As we say in Kentucky... Try it, you'll like it.

The whole point of this thread was to show people how to build a target that will compare to the ones the sold in the proshops for $400 to $500 by using our $35 skins and build it themselves. It can be very rewarding and self satisfying to the archer, while I can make a couple bucks to feed my family.

I have one of your 'Rag Bag" covers and it is excellent! I took the stuffing from a worn out target and stuffed it inside your cover. Guys, honestly the Third Hand covers are the best made in the industry IMO.

Thanks Jim for opening this thread. I'll be making a few targets and purchasing skins from you. My Amish buddies loved 'em!
Oh... hopefully I'll see you in Forksville too.

    Thank you Cougar.
After 25 years of selling them I think we warrantied 4 or 5. That means with field points the archer wore a hole in all 18 spots. We gave them a new target. The DIY 3x3 skins have the same material and warranty but haven't had one to wear out yet. Here is a Rag Bag that got worn out and warrantied. 2013-05-01 16.34.06.jpg

I made one last summer using the faces from thirdhandman. Works great, looks great and stops arrows great. It does take a ton of clothes to fill. You cannot find a target of this size for any cheaper!
