This site really needs a DIY section. I have asked numerous times with zero results. I think valuable threads like this should not get lost in the normal everyday talk. Awesome pictorial RC and finished product. Thanks for sharing.

If memory serves, it was in the $400 range.

As to your proposal. I'm sorry but I dont play for that team. I'm straight and already married to the most understanding women in the world.

I am also not gay, but I am willing to learn (shameless Stripes quote) besides ... I can double your wardrobe :D

The above proposal was all in jest. I just didn't want you to get your hopes up ;)

Let me just say I love following all your posts, I was just curious to know where you purchased the aluminum for lining the inside of the smoker at? ie:lumber store, home depot or lowes type stores? Thanks in advance.

That thing looks awesome! I have been wanting to get a smoker for couple years but i never can justify spending the money on the ones that are out there on the market! I might just have to try making one some time! good trend!!!

How has use of the smoker been? Would you change anything now knowing what you now know? Great post by the way. You inspired me to start a similar project.

You probably won't get a response from rancid crabtree. He was banned a while back.
