is there any bug spray that works very well and gives off little to no odor also is there one that is added into a odor killer. this is my first real season bow hunting and my season opens tomorrow morning and i plan on getting in the woods tomorrow about 1200 noon after my morning college class.

ANY GOOD AND CHEAP BUG SPRAY AND/OR SENT KILLER WOULD BE ALLSOME

If you are going to be sitting, Thermacel. Sawyers Permethin is good but is a clothes treatment. For a spray I use Repel 100, doesn't seem to have much of a scent. It will turn your lips numb if you get it on them.

I spray myself down with Deep Woods Off.

*gasp* but what about the smell? You are probably asking.

Human scent needs to be minimized as much as possible but in farming country, chemical smell is something that deer are exposed to all the time. They won't think twice about it.

What kind of bugs? I use thermacell for mosquitos but permethrin for ticks and chiggers. I also have some natural bug repellent made from various plant extracts in case thermacell dies.

I treat my clothes with Sawyers but it needs time to dry. So I treat them well ahead of time and it lasts a few washings. I use a Thermacell but last season forgot it once so I stopped on the way to Ohio and bought some earth scent bug spray (I think it was Deep Woods Off brand) and it worked fine. I had shots at deer that I passed on, they didn't bust me.
