Not sure what you mean but basically the only thing I ask of the government is to protest us from other countries taking us over. When S#!t hits the fan I'm not standing around waiting for help from the government. I just went through 3 major hit by hurricanes in two year and lost all power for up to 3 weeks. I didn't go running down to get my free FEMA generator like my Trust Trash neighbors. I got up every morning and ate my granola bars and warm water and went to work cleaning up my two homes and business and then went to bed in the heat and did it again the next day. But thats me. I see all these Governors now claiming national disasters before the anything even happens to their states now. Country is getting soft thats all.
I suppose I have a BOB in the sense that my backcountry hunting pack remains loaded ready for a hunt with all the gear (use it for training hike purposes)... So if I grabbed my bow/gun and the pack I'd be gone and ready for atleast a week to a month of surviving in the woods. That said, if I had to prepare for beyond that we would be talking about a walking dead type scenario...to be honest, not sure I'd want to live in that world anyway.
I took what you where saying as if something happened we wouldn't have somewhat of a lawless environment because of the people in this country are better than anywhere else. Reading back through I guess you were more talking about the Red Dawn comments eaelier on.
