to answer first question - Bud Light (Miller Lite actually my least favorite of all beers) But Free and Cold will always get drank. Coors Light probably my fav...and summertime the Corona w/ Lime (or BL w/ Lime).
*puts beer snob hat on Stella is for people who want to look like a beer snob, but really have no clue. *takes beer snob hat off
When I lived in Oklahoma, all domestics were 3.2 but the loophole at the bars were that imports weren't. I drank a lot of Modelo when I lived my 4 short months there. That stuff will get you drunk in a hurry. Oklahoma is an extremely different state all together than what I was used too.
Bud Light or Natty for me. Can barely stand Miller products. BL Lime isn't too bad, but I would rather have a Corona. The Wheat was very good IMO though.
Jim, Your a texan, where is shiner bock on that list? I know it's on mine... I brew as well. Are you on any homebrew forums? Are you all-grain or extract? And since this thread was started by an AB guy, I gotta ask (not that I expect you to actually know the anwer.. ). But what skunk did they kill to get the recipe for american ale? It seriously tastes like a skunky homebrew, there are a lot of guys out there that brew some great beer, I can't believe that recipe made the cut. They could be hauling some serious coin if they found a better recipe for that.
Only chicks drink Bud Light. I grew up on Miller Lite, and although I don't drink it much anymore it's still my choice over Bud Light any day. Bud Light gives me the worst headaches ever, and tastes pretty much like piss. I pretty much stick with Leinie's, Sam Adams, and the occassional Newcastle now. Although if I can find it, Alaskan Amber is delicious. Just can't get it here in IL.
Brews-Bros.com is about the only one I frequent anymore... used to go to the northern brewer site but it was kinda bland and then off to Brewboard.com but there was an epic meltdown that pretty much ruined that site about a year ago and all the "talent" went over to brews-bros.com... I suggest you stop by some day, can get quite entertaining in the Public House forum... I'm an all-grain guy, have been for about 4 yrs now...
Yeah Jim? What about Shiner? Or how about some Saint Arnold? Where is your pride? One day I'm going to get into brewing my own, one day... I'll add it to my list of hobbies.
you can save money doing it if you like expensive micros (I can brew 5 gal - 2.5 cases - of guiness like beer for about 20ish bucks, unfortunately, its the same cost to do a miller lite clone), if you like bud/miller/coors type macro-swill then its more expensive... feel free to email me if you want some advice...
Sadly since I went all grain it seems like I don't have any time to brew anymore, at least with extract I could pop one out on a friday night and be done by 10:00. The site I go to is homebrewtalk.com, although I haven't been there in awhile. You should go there and get the recipe for Edwort's Bee Cave Brewery haus pale ale, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. It's something every homebrewer should keep on tap.
I'll drink Bud or Miller, but Coors & Keystone are my main choices. If not them, then I like Wheat Beer... like Boulevard. I had a beer called "Crop Circle Wheat", but Great Dane in Madison WI, last weekend. Incredibly good stuff as well.
I'd like that! It's my favorite beer by far.. although I've actually been drinking it well before the commercials. It was really the first 'real' beer I ever liked. It tastes AWESOME with a brownie! And don't let the place of birth fool you. Dos Equis was invented by a German.. like all great beers.
Agree with Hooker all the way... especially his comment about Jim needing to expand his horizons! :D Yuck to all those! :D

AB has scalled back production and Im sure will eliminate it in the coming year.
I'll drink mostly anything. I do enjoy Smithwicks when I can find it around here. Also like New Castle and some Sam Adams stuff. Usually a buddy and me go for the cheap stuff when we're out fishing....PBR or Busch.
