The nice ten was at about 2 when I first called, he was 80-100 yards out. He trotted off like they do, I was expecting him on my wind side. Directly to my south is a large pond with thick brush. That is where he was kind of looking and where the sound came from. The first buck was the 32 second video. He didn't stay long because of something around the same area.. Of the pond. It was less than a minute till the next eight came in all postured up. Maybe the first buck and big ten had issues over by the pond where I couldn't see. The pond is at 12 to about 4.
I had an encounter with another crazy big about an hour later.. Strait behind me, 6 o'clock. Maybe they all knew he was just in the area. Sorry no video of that ) I shook for twenty minutes after he left.
Ok, now you're just bragging j/k, put one of them down! In all seriousness though. This helps me make the choice to break out the camera again. It's a bow mount, but still love the ability to capture the moment even when you're not drawing back.
I try to record as much as I can. I really enjoy watching and learning later. I am doing what I can with those other bucks )hope to get another look at him Good luck
Man you have some awesome encounters, I would have shot that first big buck and my season would have been over already, but knowing that that other big buck you got coming through would make me want to hold out too, good luck to you this year! I don't think you will have a problem tagging a monster
