Bucks Still Carrying!

    Came across these bucks and a few others this afternoon. Guess this explains why I haven't found any sheds in this area yet.

    Do you think that is the same buck as the one at :38 & 1:33? Same blood line for sure but not sure if it is the same buck or not.

    I just had 9 deer in my front yard, and at least one of them was a buck. No antlers though, I only know he was a buck because I watched him mount a young doe!

    Looks like the same deer to me. That brow tine is really similar and he also has that little knob on his right G2 that you can see is on both deer.

    Many bucks won't shed until mid March, seems like the bigger bucks hold them longer.

    I have pictures of a 2yr old buck last year that held his into April. Larger bucks tend to shed earlier in my experience.

    Ya I was pretty sure they were the same. Crazy how much bigger he looks in velvet.

    Was coming home from work other night and saw couple bucks still holding. Can't say what's goin on with deer I've got, not getting any on cam but also not sure if any I am getting are bucks.

    I've still got some with headgear on my land as well. I seen 11 last weekend when coming up the driveway. Three of them still had them, they were smaller though.

    in my neck of the woods of wyoming, there aren't that many whitetails. i'd have to drive a couple of hours for them. i did find a pronghorn shed though =)

    The bucks here still have their head gear too. Normally they have dropped them by now.
