Hopefully you guys can help me make some sense of this. Hunting on 40 acres. Have a 1 acre food plot of mixed alfalfa and a few other greens, and a gravity feeder of corn 90 yards away in some higher grass/trees. Just pulled my cameras and I have 4 diff bucks all by the feeder, and all at night, sometimes laying down. Not one day pic on that camera except for a young 6 point that was curious about me for 20 minutes this morning and just happened to walk over there after leaving the food plot. However on my food plot camera I have 3 does, mainly at dusk or dawn with a few pics at night and a few middle of the day. The bucks are on that camera also, but only at night.

So a few questions. Do bucks and does bed together before the rut kicks in? The bucks aren't there every night, but a few days of the week, and where in the hell are the does sleeping?

What will happen when the rut kicks in? Will only the biggest buck, who is a mature 7 point stay near and kick out the others?

My plan this morning was to shoot a doe, but after only seeing 3 on camera, and no fawns I am thinking about shooting one of the smaller, older bucks if I get that chance.
