Has any gotten a call from Buckmasters about the 5 day hunt in montana with Lee and Tiffany and Jackie?

They called me Thursday, I almost fell out of my seat when the caller Id said Buckmasters on it. The guy on the other end asked me about my hunting last year and then asked how far away from home I hunt and if I have ever hunted out of state. My heart was racing, I was just waiting for him to say I won. Then he said that I had not yet won and he wanted to confirm some of my information.

He goes on to tell me how they are able to do these hunts as well as hunts for the military and handy capped. Their magazines :0 He asked me to sign up for a 5 year membership for $122.00. I told him money was tight right now, but I would look online and maybe join later. I went from thinking I was going to Montana to just ordering magazines :( I hope I did not screw up my chance by saying no to the magazines. Maybe I should join online. I see I could join for one year for 20 something.

Has any one else got a call?

What a crap phone call. "You have not yet won"..."Do you want to pay $122 for a 5 year subscription?". Bait and....

I say this with total ignorance towards buckmasters and their magazines...but one thing guys have agreed on at almost every hunting site I have ever attended is their general dislike for the way Jackie and co handle business over the phone. Many say once they start, they will not stop and you may even find some magazines along with a bill...again let me reiterate I have never had an issue, just repeating what I have seen many times on hunting sites.

My wife got me a 3 year subscription to Buckmasters as a gift 3 years ago. THANK GOD ITS OVER! Now if they would just leave me alone with the phone calls.
The only thing that magazine is good for is lining the litter box!

Dude read the fine print when you register they might call you at anytime it states.
Basically it is a membership drive as I learned the hard way a few years back when
they called a lot more often.

I have been getting calls to my cell phone for two years (sometimes 2 or three times a day) from Buckmasters trying to get me to sign up for their magazine. I actually answered the last time I called and was told that I would be taken off their call list....Not going to be happy if I keep getting calls.

I got pretty much the same call. The caller said I was in the top 400 out of a million to win a free hunt to Texas with Micheal Waldel and all expense paid, and would be flying into Mexico, wanted to know what kind of Bow and gun I used and if I had any luck last year. Said he was verifying everything ( address, name and number), said that Micheal would be calling me instead of him, said since I lived in Al, he really wanted to see me win, then he freaked me out by wantin my credit card number for a 5 year subscribtions to the mag, it was fast I fed into it, now I'm pissed that it was done this way, we don't do things like this in Al, from a business point of view Jackie needs to wake up and take notice in what is going on with the way the gimmics of his mag is being pushed. I have supported buckmasters for 20 years and never knew it was being handle turn key money maker. This is not the way any of us wanted buckmasters to come across to new comers, we want the truth and I'm thinking about going to pay buckmasters a visit in Montgomery.

Hope Micheal knows his name is being thrown around with all the sales gimmics.

I gave my name to buckmasters last year and probably got 10 sales calls. After the 4th one I started asking to he removed from the list. It wouldn't be as bad if the telemarketers on the other end didn't have such fake crappy country accents and try to act all buddy buddy and make small talk about my season.

The 2nd time they called me I was at work and when they stated who they were I started screaming that I won a hunt with buckmasters ! He felt pretty bad having to tell me that in fact I had not won and they juts wanted money. Needless to say they haven't called since and I will not enter any of their sweepstakes
