"Although it would be entertaining, I am against the idea because to me it would cheapen the reason for hunting. Personally, I hunt for myself and don't compete against anybody. If I did, hunting would become my job and that would certainly kill a lot of my enjoyment. "

Believe me Greg, I believe those same things. I was only thinking of the idea as entertainment and did not really think of the big picture. The more I hear you guys talk about it, the more I agree that it probably would not be the greatest idea. On the other hand, we watch hunting videos all day long....hunting videos of hunting monster bucks on properties that are massive, well groomed, and tailor made for killing monster bucks...basically they are set up to slay monsters...does that cheapen hunting?

Jeff, hunting videos don't bother me at all either. I could care less. I was just using it as an example. Bucks of Tecomate, Real Tree Adventures....on and on and on. After a kill on those shows the hunter doesn't say, "wow, what a fantastic buck....I think he is a 9 pointer". The response is..pick up their cell phone and call someone..."hey I killed a 167 1/8th"
