...I'd say we're about even on "sits" in the home state. I've really struggled getting to the stand this year, so far.

But, I did find a good spot near school...and that trip to hunt near the Iowa boarder...Mock scrape is pickin' up...I'll be fine.

Therein lies the difference in our goals Jeff. Yours will always be about a "respectable" buck in your eyes. Mine will always be about filling my freezer. Antlers don't cook well.

I still have archery tags for Colorado (deer), Kentucky (deer), Nebraska (deer), Texas (deer), and Washington State (deer)

I'll give you one gun kill. The rest must come via archery gear.

 

OK, so my lead is narrowed substantially. No need for the gun kills, I ain't packing one this year! My IN and AZ tags are archery only, the KY tag is more of a policy of archery only. I may have to head down to AL for a hunt if these hunts don't add up!

I think it'll take a NM tag for you to beat me, luckily I am safe there (until next year).:p
