Buck questions?

Do you think this buck is a shooter? It's actually a decent size for my area. How old? Will he amount to anything in the future. Any thoughts about this buck would be great.

 

I wouldn't shoot it. I would say 2.5 years old. Could be nicer next year, but its up to you whether to shoot it or not. Where in Wisconsin do you hunt ?

1.5 Shoot what makes you happy! Dont worry about if other people would shoot him or not. Good luck!

Nobody can predict a bucks potential till he is a 3.5 yo. 40% of Wisconsin bucks see a 2nd birthday and 10% see a 3rd birthday yet with no APR's Wisconsin is #1 in book entries the last 10 years. Do what makes you happy and tune out the hunting show/blog opinions. Opinions are like colons, everyone has one and they all stink.

 

Good body size small neck. No more than 2 1/2... a shooter is up to you, but he will be deliciously tender.

I hunt in marinette county. I think ill pass him this year and hope he makes it through this year. The problem is I hunt with people that shoot any buck they see.. So it's kinda hard to manage size and what not.
