This place is know in MI for its annual buck pole. I have gone to many of these events. This is just to give some an idea of what we kill here in MI. I know they are gun, but remember these are from just opening morning. In the evening they have trucks backed up loaded with bucks. Truly is event one must see to believe. We have more bucks here dead show up through gun season then CO has deer:)

They have a website, who knew:p

Take a look, most of these deer come from the Golden Triangle here in MI. It's a truly amazing place to hunt with some of the best habitat in the country. With a little deer management it would be the preimer place to hunt. People would say ILL who?

There are some very nice bucks on that site. A little misleading though as most hunters don't haul sparky down to show him off. :D

I know a guy that used to hunt private land in Jackson Co. He killed a few 125"-130" 3.5-4.5 year old bucks. Very nice deer.
