Ive noticed that bucks are changing patterns earlier and earlier every year. When I first started hunting, bucks would be in bachelor groups up to almost October. Now they are breaking up before September starts. They seem to be getting rid of velvet earlier and putting rut sign out much earlier too. Im not sure why this is happening or if anyone else has noticed this in their area? Kind of interesting, making it more of a challenge , which I like, but I do miss watching a bachelor group of bucks come in , in early september .
