To me the buck of a lifetime is a buck that is well over 190. To see a deer on the hoof with that much bone his head will be Mind Boggling to me. I hope I can hold it together! The biggest buck I have killed is in the 130. I want the NC Typical Record that will soon be in the 180s after the bucks that have been killed so far this year. I think it will happen one day.

Something in the 180"+ range. They do exist around my place, my brother has one on the wall (his grosses 199").

Ive held a number between 180-225" since I started hunting. I want to put one on the wall someday. I would have to have history with him though.

I truly feel any buck with the bow in my area (New England) is a trophy... however... a 100-120" buck around here is a wall hanger... so for all intensive purposes, where I hunt, any "Book" deer is a buck of a lifetime. I know hunters who have killed several... and others that have never in their entire hunting careers (some longer than I've been alive).

I would say every deer is a trophy they all have their own special meaning. Gun and Bow!
It just amazes me to this day that I can kill a deer with a bow. When I was about 13 I thought there was
a cold chance in hell this could ever happen with me. Now it's a honor every chance i'm lucky enough
to kill one with a bow.
