    I name them all "Big Bast*rd", that way when I kill one I can honestly say I killed a big bast*rd.

    I've never named one... I guess I don't have an imagination other than names like "the big 8" or that "little 6". haha

    This. Cant imagine spending one minute naming a deer. I never EVER share trail cam photos with anyone and since I know them by how they look, there is no need to communicate a "name" to anybody. I'm glad others do it, I find it entertaining.

    I usually don't name a deer specifically. I will just refer to them as "the big 8" or "the ten with the tall brows". I usually only have about one year of history with a buck but I guess if I had one around for a few years I might give it a name. Probably something like "Lucky".

    Sounds like you're paranoid that somebody is going to kill "your buck". :bash: I enjoy sharing my pics, they make for good conversation.

    It's kind of like the media naming serial killers(at least on TV), some trait or uniqueness.
