I am for the first time chasing a target buck. I have seen this deer four times now. He busted me twice in one tree so I decided to move to a different spot along his path knowing I could see him quicker. Well it worked, kinda, I could see him about 100 yards off but I realized why he busted me those two times, he walks 10 ft and scans the trees. When he finally got close enough to see me he looks right at me an makes a wide loop around me and continues on his way. Looks like it back to the drawing board.

If it was me I would move closer to that 100 yard spot you have been seeing him at and make sure you have the wind in you favor!! Don't hunt it til the wind is right!!

I'm hunting public and he is coming off of private land. Looked up who owns it and it says county commissioner so I'm not sure who to contact to get permission to hunt there
