I was wondering if it would be effective if I use "Buck Jam Ripe Apples" in the late season. If anybody knows anything about this please let me know, and/or leave some tips. Thanks :)

Is it legal in your state?

It is on private hunting lands.

We have Apple trees on our hunting property and the deer tend to leave the old apples alone after the snow flies so depending on your location it may bring them in. I know here they dont tend to eat them out of season

it doesn't matter if the land is private or not. I would check your regs before doing anything.

This has zero bearing on whether legal or not in more states than not. Please let us know what state and we can let ya know.

Kentucky if this is accurate than you are good to go. I don't bait, but if I did I would use apples. Not legal here in IN and personally I don't think I would if legal. But I say go for it if you want and it's legal.
