Hi All, what do you think this buck will be? Would you be concerned about how skinny he is? How old do ya think? Thanks. big brow buck 6-18-12...1.jpg big brow buck 6-18-12...2.jpg

Looks to me like he'll end up being a nice basic 8(maybe a 9pt - looks like a sticker forming on the left) with about a 17 inch spread (+/- 3/4"), no idea how high those G2s could get though(anywhere 5-10 inch)...wouldn't worry about his weight - he looks to be a nice healthy young buck to me and they aren't gonna be putting on the end of fall/start of rut poundage yet.

I'm no expert but I'd guess he's a 2, maybe a 3 year old, more likely a 2 year old. He doesnt seem to be spread too far outside his ears and he has no sway in his back from what I can see characterizing him as a younger deer. Just a shot in the dark I'd guess he'd end up taping out in the low 100" to 110" range by fall. A lotta great potential there, congrats!

Hard to say what his rack will be. There's still a lot of growing season left :tu:

    Judging by his body & mass, I'd guess he's a nice 2 yo or a 3 yo.
