This guy showed up 9:45 am on June 8th. Cant tell if its one i got pics from last year or not but hope he keeps growing. Outside of the left brow tine a little curved he looks perfect It would be a dream if he added 3 more to each side. Anyway Buck fever has started and its June 10th. Anybody got any clever names for him? Anybody guess an age on this deer? A buddy of mine says maybe 2 years old and another one said he can still see spots (ha ha). I personally think he is at least a 3 year old but. I mean how many 2 year old bucks have growth outside of their ears like this guy? Iowa maybe but not in Missouri.

nice early growth there, and lots of growing season left here so you should see that. The only thing worries me is the lack of rain here in MO.

A couple farms got an inch, a couple farms got 4 tenths, and where I live got 2 tenths. Any rain is good rain for how dry it is but its getting critical. Corn is starting to tassel and if we don't get 2-3 inches shortly then its going to get really bad in a hurry. With the complete lack of rainfall the cool nights and days in the low 80's have kept everything from burning up. Pray for rain or the people of America are really going to be pissed when the cost of their food triples because of this drought.
