    I was thinking a Rage without much penetration.

    I muzzleloader hole there, and that doe isn't walking around right now.

    Just my opinion though

    Pretty sure that hole doesn't penetrate the body cavity. It looks to me like it went through the armpit area (either hard quartering to or quartering away. And with our ML season ending a week ago... I'm thinking the chances are pretty good. :D

    Once again, thanks for all the congrats. :)


    There is no way of knowing how that wound came about I guess. I could tell that is has scabbed over, but it wasn't very old. I actually thought she could have gotten caught in a fence, who knows. I seriously doubt that is was from an arrow. I don't know of anyone who bowhunts near me...and I would probably know if there were. The muzzleloader wound is a good possibility, but I only know of one person hunting with a muzzloader around me, and I can't imagine them taking a doe.

    Here is another pic for those who are curious. I'm surprised she has made it this long.
