I've had a bit of an emotional rollercoaster of a season so far. I've had plenty of chances at some pretty good bucks, but I haven't been able to seal the deal, and it was getting to me. However, Saturday evening, my mom called me from Montana (my Aunt and Uncle live out there, and they're out visiting) to tell me my dad scored on a nice 5 x 4 Mulie. No pictures, yet, but I hear it's a good one. I'm pumped for my dad, and really happy he was able to get one down. He took a mule deer doe his last trip out three years ago, but I know this will be the perfect ending to an already cool trip. Just like that, I can forget about my season lows...at least for a little while
Cool. Congrats to him. On your season.....it's halftime buddy. Tonight starts the second half of the 2010 archery game. You took some shots in the first half, but you're still standing. Get out there and get it done. They're there, just waiting for ya. Good luck bud.
Thanks, bud. Following the football analogy, I was certainly hunting like the Buffalo Bills play Thanks, guys. Hopefully I will have some pictures when they return.
Looking forward to the pics, there is nothing better than a call from Dad with a hunting success update.
