Thanks again everybody! I'm still on the "high" from this morning's hunt. Always happens when you least expect it. I hope to get another before season ends. I'm grateful...I've taken three deer with my bow this season.
They seem to always do that. I remember on my 1st recurve kill bear- I was trying to split the pelvic with my knife when I went to hit the knife and the knife slipped and stabbed myself above my knee cap. Blade went In about a 1/2 Inch. Man I was hurting but managed to get the job done with some help after that. Congratulation's on your buck Finch!! Getting anything from the ground Is an Incredible effort and hunt.
