    Congrats, He's a good looking buck. Instinctual hunting at its best, I love when breaking from the norm pays off. Always those times in the season where you question doing something and back out in fear of changing things up, and then the one time you do it, Bam!

    Thanks again everybody! I'm still on the "high" from this morning's hunt. Always happens when you least expect it. I hope to get another before season ends. I'm grateful...I've taken three deer with my bow this season.

    They seem to always do that. ;) I remember on my 1st recurve kill bear- I was trying to split the pelvic with my knife when I went to hit the knife and the knife slipped and stabbed myself above my knee cap. Blade went In about a 1/2 Inch. Man I was hurting but managed to get the job done with some help after that.

    Congratulation's on your buck Finch!! Getting anything from the ground Is an Incredible effort and hunt.

    Man, I'd love to do it on the ground some time. Talk about a rush!
