Here is the scenario...I have 44 acres that I hunt on..I have a neighbor that has about 200 acres that he doesn't hunt on a whole lot...Therefore he probably really doesn't know this buck exist..But he does gun hunt quite a bit and the season starts Nov 12 for rifles...For 3 nights in the past 6 evenings of hunting there is a 150 class buck that comes out about 30 mins before dark into the neighboring standing bean field..But a buck being this visual during the daylight won't stand much of a chance to survie gun season on the neighbors if he doesnt change his ways...I have a oat food plot that borders right next to it..I have a stand about 50 yards into my property tucked into the woods with several shots towards my oat field..What is the best way to draw the buck over to my field?? Buck Decoy?? Rattaling?? THey should be cutting the beans this week and Im hoping that will force him into the oats to eat..?? where he comes out is about 150 yards from my property...Any advice is very much appreciated..

For sure I would try a combination of rattling and decoy set up. Make sure you have the buck decoy facing towards you, that way if he sees it and comes in he will circle around and be broadside so he can approach the decoy head on. I would start out by placing the decoy about 15-20 yards away from your stand and have it where that buck will be able to see it. Start out by lightly tickling your horns and some grunts, see if he reacts too it. If not then get alittle more aggressive with the horns and louder with the grunts. Go for it!!!!

Yeah thats kinda of the scenario that I thought would work..Never have tried a decoy yet...Hopefully this works out..Looks like the next night will be Thursday before I can get the wind in my favor for this set up so far...As long as I can get off work early..Thanks for the input!!

I agree also with Hoyt 'N' It. The only thing I would add is if you can put the ears back on the buck decoy, than do it. It means business, and bigger bucks usually won't tolerate it. Good luck and keep us posted!

make sure you get the decoy scent free. use some buck urine, or better yet, find some tarsal glands

A bedded doe decoy by the buck decoy really helps.
