Buck Butter...ever heard of it??

just got mine from lowes whitetail, yeah the shipping was a bit on the steep side but i rather get straight from the source than some warehouse, can't wait to get out and try it

 

Got mine in the mail yesterday. I too ordered straight from the company. I paid $9.90 for shipping, but got 3 items. Just wondering if anyone that ordered the buck butter ordered anything else with that order. I ordered the Acorn bedding scent along with the buck butter. I also received the synthetic deer urine as a promotional 'gift'. Not too bad for $30 altogether.

 

i got mine today as well and got a hardwoods cover scent. I tricked the wife into smelling it.....WHEEEEEEW! it STINGS the nostrils haha

I ordered some. Now that I am watching youtube videos on it I am not all that sure its going to work so great but I think its worth a shot.

I am yet to see a deer not on high alert with the youtube clips they have online.

 

Good night that stuff stinks! They also shipped me a bottle of synthetic deer urine. I put some out in front of a camera near a bedding area. Will keep you all posted.

I've never used that but if its half as good as this stuff its good...it calms them down for sure..

I just got mine in the mail today. I could smell it through the container and the vacuum sealed bag it was in. Some dank smelling stuff. I hope the deer like it.

 

Got mine in the mail today, cut the vacuum sealed bag and almost threw up. Pungent is an understatement. Putting it to work this afternoon, I'll update my results during/after the hunt

Well, whether it was me or the Buck Butter, I got blown from over my right shoulder first, left shoulder 20 mins later and directly behind me 20 minutes after that. Granted, the wind was swirling on the ridge I was hunting this morning so I'm not sure of the culprit..not giving up yet though, setting sail again tomorrow afternoon with high hopes of a more consistent wind.

 

So I have been hearing from some folks that when they ordered theirs from sites other than lowes, it has come dark and overly pungent. I suppose scent is subjective but from my experience, it isnt supposed to crush your nose. If it has the slightest bit of ammonia smell its no good...if its super dark in color...its probably no good....if youre getting blown at its either you or the BB but if its looking like the BB is bad.... thats probably what it is
