The day before episode 16 comes out, I get to watch episode 15. Finally! I actually had to come back to work to get time to watch it! Haha! That was a tough one Clinton. You guessed the drop but I don't think anyone would have expected the turn. Good news is you will hopefully have another chance at him. Gongrats to Avery!! That is one heck of a "see-able" antler buck! Looks like he already has a split left brow tine too! It's clear to see he's following right in dad's footsteps!

And by the way, when you decide to move to Wyoming, I'll be right there with ya!

    Got Out Yesterday
Went and checked my trail cams yesterday and had a 140 6x6 show up right in front of my blind, not the biggest body but he'll do as good table fare. LOL Starting to get deer by now as it's getting closer to the rutt. I'll go out for the afternoon on Tuesday Supposed to snow again.I'll try to post on our thread, his picture.

These are the normal for this spot there used to be 2 that were 200" plus in here but I haven't seen them for 2 years. I got my second best buck of here at 172 6/8

    Wow
2 days now and no one has been online ,everyone must be out hunting! I start Tuesday, supposed to get a bit colder Wednesday. A little early but I'll see how it goes walking back and forth to the blinds. Maybe the farmer has taken of the bails from the field.
    Hope everyone is doing okay!

I'm in the blind in NJ. First of 6 days. Was here 10 min and a skipper hung out at 25yds. Let him walk. Looking for a bigger doe or two and antlers.

I had a few hunts this weekend but nothing exciting to speak of. One sit I only saw a small 6 point that hung out under my stand for 30 min or so, another sit I got busted moving in the blind and had a doe blowing at me for 15 min from multiple locations as she circled the blind. Oh and I forgot about the neighbor I caught riding his 4 wheeler all over the property in search of his lost German Shepard while he screamed as loud as possible. He seemed to think it was ok because he was "looking for his dog". He's a fireman that seems to think he's above the law. We exchanged a few nice words before he took off.

Hello fellas, I haven't checked the site for a few days. So, Hardwoods-congrats man that is a cool way to propose. Outstanding! Vermont I hope you had something other than a tick bite. Those are nasty buggers and good for nothing. Youngfart...kill that buck! Joe-bow, 15 yards is close enough; kill a doe already :) Clinton congrats on getting Avery a buck. That was pretty awesome and I was very surprised the shot wasn't perfect. Looked at it several times.

It was special to see my son's elk hunt on Bow Hunt or Die. I was on my way home from Wyoming (drove through that snow too) when I got the text of his bull. Pretty cool to get to see how it happened.

I hunted last Friday. 12 hours in a stand near bedding area and saw two does at 6:37 pm. NO more of that unless it's 40 degrees. Supposed to be in the high 80's through the weekend. Makes me sick. I'm hunting Friday and Saturday but will NOT be sitting all day. I drive over 100 miles to hunt so I really hate to leave mid-day and have to hike back in but that's what I'll do. Kansas in a couple of weeks. Hope it's cooler up there. Good luck everyone and shoot some does. :)

Found this and two scrapes near one of my ground spots, on the edge of a cut corn piece. Think I saw the bruiser that made this yesterday afternoon at last light about 150yds away. I moved my location to try and intercept tonight. Wish me luck !

The boy and I didn't see anything over the hay field today but we did pull the trail cam card.
