I really enjoyed the footage on that hunt. Youngfart, keep at it. Hopefully that snow will show you some trails they're using and you can get set up on them. Still waiting on it to cool off here. I played golf this morning and am playing again tomorrow. Striper fishing tomorrow evening and planning to hunt next Friday regardless of the weather. Get'em boys!

I know you'll get it done still, good luck! As for me, havent been out yet this weekend, it's been quite a weekend so far! Long story short....She said YES! The balloon ride was such a amazing experience and being able to ask her to marry me from up in the air like that was something we will never forget! She is amazing and now wants me to go try to kill an "engagement buck" so I'm heading up to one of our spots right now for an afternoon sit. I'm going to sit till dark and see what happens. Went out last night and saw a doe while walking in. I stalked her to 15yrds and then she busted me. Saw nothing after. Out this AM in a blind
Had 4 does walk into the field my blind is in about 15min before shooting light. They browsed and left about 5min for it was light enough. nothing has come by since.
How many people on our team have gotten a doe so far? I'm at zero. Probably not going back out till Friday. Had about 25 tics crawling on me last night. Supposed to be warm all week. Good luck to everyone who gets out.
That's a good reminder to everyone to check for ticks. In NY we have Lyme disease and it is very serious. Check yoself before ya wreck yoself
Speaking of ticks. I haven't hunted since Oct 1 and 2. I've had fevers on and off ever since and am in the hospital right now. The think it may be tick born. Thanks everyone for the congrats on my blacktail. Their antlers look like muley's and they have a little in them but don't get quite as big. this guy will probably score about 115 to 120. Not a monster but a great buck for where I hunt. My season ends on the 30th. Since I've got one to cut up, I'll hopefully be hunting most of this weekend but not sure if I'll be able to hunt the last. Have some other family commitments to attend but I'll try my darnedest to get out there for both. Good news is my dad saw 2 good bucks near his house the other morning. If the does cooperate and start any sort of pre-rut, it's not very far at all for those bucks to get to his property. and we have about 6-8 does hanging out on a regular basis. Keeping my fingers crossed! Hope everyone else's seasons are going well!
Got to go out and check my tc's today. I'll do it in my truck and take my wife with me so she knows where I'm hunting just in case I get stuck out there. Taking my truck should be alright cause the deer there are used to farm vehicles being out there.That way I don't have to walk far. I'll post later if I get any shooters on camera. Rocky
