Back at it. In the ground blind, adjacent to the river. Hoping they will come in late to drink. 92 deg. Pretty brutal out here.
Back in the stand this afternoon. 81deg, excellent wind when it gusts otherwise it's calm. Wind is blowing my sent to the houses behind me. Suburban hunting at its best. Haven't hunted this stand much in the afternoon. It's my favorite morning stand. Stand I shot my doe out of yesterday morning. Trees shade this corner first in evening and there is a trail down the mountain to the river that goes right past my stand. Have my scentlok on, just waiting for a racker to come by!
Nothing yesterday afternoon. Didn't see a deer. Back in the same stand this morning. It's always been a good morning stand. Guess we will see. 50deg, no wind, been sitting here for 45 min in the dark. It's shooting time now 0615 hrs. Nothing near the stand except birds. My son and his girlfriend also harvested a doe so we are all looking for antlers in NJ earn a buck early archery. Hope everyone has a great day.

I get to put up a couple Blinds tomorrow, can't wait to set foot in the bush, supposed to be warm out tomorrow so it won't be a wasted day. Got to brush them in and sight in the crossbow. then I'll be ready . Set on going out for the 1st time at the beginning of October. Rocky
Well gents the BTX has finally feasted! Not on deer unfortunately but on pork! This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home, this little piggy had roast beef, this little piggy had none, and this little piggy cried WEE WEE WEE all the way into our freezer! i had no idea how tough pigs are but man this dude put up a fight. I posted a separate thread on the Bowhunting Talk area if you wanna read the full deal. Very happy though and my first pig ever even see in the wild myself. He snapped 2 of the 3 arrows I put in him, and one into 3 pieces too!
