Alright, question for all you pro bow hunters. I am headed to OK tomorrow to hunt till Sunday. I have a blind set up on a path that a lot of deer travel. In my camera, I have only seen a few good bucks but they were GOOD ones. For some reason my camera messed up this year so I did not get any pics but there is a lot of sign and I know the deer are still traveling this path. I have a doe and buck tag so I am looking to take both. I am wanting to use some sort of attractant that will not scare away the does cause I want some meat in the freezer but I want to better my chances of taking a good buck also. Any suggestions.

And sorry for the long question!!

    Hunt the does......

When do they start rutting in OK ?

I've used Buck Bomb Doe Estrous before, with good results. I'm not a big fan of scents, because, at that time of year, I should already know where a hot doe or 2 are, and, possibly, which bucks SHOULD be chasing them.

Anyway, this isnt about me...The Buck Bomb- I used this a few times. Like the first time? I used this, I had 13 bucks come in that night, one went up to the can and flipped it over with his nose..

I second the buck bomb, Im not going to use the doe in estrus one till november when rut really kicks in. I actually just bought a buck bomb today.....but this one is a acorn rage kind. So hopefully it will bring both bucks and does in.

Honestly... I would stay away from any urine scents... I would try something such as the "Acorn cover scent". I have had some good success with deer (if you have bears in the area watch out because they LOVE this stuff). It seems a little too early to be putting estrus... well... any urine out except for mock scrapes!
