The ratio is already out of hand. There are way too many does in the county I hunt. That is why they (DNR) began the EAB program a few years back. My goal was to tag out this year and any decent buck that presented himself was getting an arrow. I really didn’t think about anything else. I had to kill 5 deer to prove myself…I would hope you would come around. No sir, this is my first time. Probably will be my last too. I’m hoping to be a bit more selective in what I shoot in future years. Ha…I wondered if someone would bring that up. Cleanup is a breeze though. J We get three either-sex tags but one must be used east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Luckily, that is where I live. We get six tags total. They are definitely generous with the tags. Thanks everyone else. I just got back home from a really busy day. Just dropped him off to the taxidermist. It was nice to have a buck that was bigger than a lot of the others. :D
