What's brown and sticky? ... a stick. And I got about 3000 pics of said stick. Gah!!! I really have to get better at putting up cams. Anyhow, here a few pictures that were salvageable. (in the start, there's a dead jackrabbit in front of the camera) Right from the start, I had juniper twigs in front of the camera. LOL Deer checking out the jackrabbit Fox checking out the jackrabbit Ringtail cat shows up and snags the jackrabbit Fox comes back and wonders where the jackrabbit went Yearling Live jackrabbit
What's kind of weird is that the stick would be in front of the lens, then it would disappear for a few pics, then it would be back for a couple hundred pics... then gone... then back... It was a very active stick. Note to self: bring pruners next time. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
I've had crappy luck this year as well with things in front of the camera. Mostly weeds that didn't seem to be in the way at the time and they went through an over night growth spurt LOL!
same problem. My buddy pulled my card for me last weekend; said I had 700 videos. He made it through the first 100 said only one was a deer. The rest were from a branch that partially broke and was swaying back and forth with the slightest breeze. Awesome.
Ssme problem here 900 pictures of 2 leafs and only 3 so far had deer but im only thru 100 lol Sent from my SPH-L720
Don't feel too bad Christine, I was just out doin some scouting and walked past one of my cams and it wasn't even turned on. The door was open and everything, it's only been out for about a week though. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
What model is that? Beautiful day pics but there's not much flash range on the night pics. Maybe the batteries are getting weak?
It's a 2012 mp6. Night pics are not its strong point but having the juniper twigs in front kind of screwed with the exposure. I got much better night pics from where I had it set up before. The batteries are still near 100% after about 4000 pictures. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
My goal now is to get some decent pictures of the ringtail cat. I think I'll be buying a flash covert next. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Nice pics. Might be the first shot of a ringtail cat I've seen here. If I saw one, I wouldn't know what the hell I was looking at!
