They don't know the exact reasons but they think it was robbery. 2 men broke into my uncles home and killed him. The men were on the run and killed a cop in New Mexico last week that led to their capture. It rocked both little communities. Just was curious how far the news traveled up there. I missed one that would have been 140-plus on the opening day of Kentucky bow season last year. He was in a bachelor group of 8 bucks, all in full velvet. 10 yards, wide open, broadside, standing still and I got rattled, choked and shot over him. I am still beating myself up over that.

Those are great deer guys! I've always said any deer taken with a bow is a trophy. This obsession that we have is not easy, my last couple years are a testament to that.

I do most of my hunting on a farm in Booneville, I live on 10a in Fulton which is all woods and is showing great promise for some 150"+ bucks.
