The temps are finally going to drop again this week. It has been warm enough that the bucks haven't been coming out to eat during the daylight hours. Hopefully that is going to change this week. Good luck guys!
Hope everyone had a safe and fun new year. Have until January 8th to get it done. Hope to get out Wednesday through Sunday. I can hunt in a metro unit until the end of the month, so I may take advantage of that also. Good luck to the guys still trying to get it done.
My deer season went out today. Sad times! I'll be trapping this winter so that'll help pass the time. I was hoping to get out today but life got in the way. My wife's car wouldn't crank so I pulled the battery and tested it, nope wasn't it (that would be too simple). Next thing was starter so I tested that and sure enough, that was the problem. Lucky the starter on there had a lifetime warranty so free fix (except for a little bit of time). I was extremely bummed that I couldn't get out and hunt but that's how it goes sometimes. And I wouldn't of enjoyed the hunt knowing I didn't fix my wife'a car before. On a better note, I put a deer feeder out behind my house so hopefully I can get a little deer coming in for my wife and daughter to see. I hope y'all are able to capitalize on the late season. My season is over as well. I made it out once over the holidays and saw deer ok n the property next door but nothing came my way. Sorry for not contributing but I had a lot of fun being part of this team. Great group of guys!

I'm still at it. Thought tonight was going to be a good one. With snow moving in I thought the deer would be up feeding. Nope, just a couple of coyotes. Plan on being back out Friday afternoon. Enjoyed being on this team with you guys!

Hunted again this evening, man it was chilly. I'm pretty sure Andrew and AZ had the same weather I did from talking to them. Never did hear from Andrew if he seen anything or not but I know that AZ and I shot goose eggs. Going to try a new spot tomorrow. See how it goes. Hope everyone is doing well.
