Well out this afternoon and decided to bring the decoy aka my 3D target lmao! Seen a lot of little guys sizing each up this morning so I figured hell why not give it a shot! [IMG]

Nothing wrong with a little fergie action. I did the same thing. Meat is meat, if you can get a doe pretty quick, a buck has got to go down sometimes.

Here is my buck from the morning. Nice and easy ten yard shot. Double lunged it and went 100 yards and tipped over. I am really impressed with my QAD Exodus broadheads. This was my first kill with them after switching from mechanical nap killzones because of my elk hunting trip and I would say they did the job and then some. I broke a rib on the entrance and exit and my arrow stuck 10" into the ground. It was crazy how loud it was hearing them bones snap like that. Had a great weekend, seen 14 deer total 2 big ones that just wouldn't come in. I wish I could have hunted all week but this morning was my last chance before gun deer season. I still need one more deer in the freezer and I have a Doe tag left but we will see how next weekend goes with the rifle in the hand

This was also my first time taking my one and a half year old down in the woods to track the deer and that was probably the most memorable thing of the day

That's awesome man! That's a great deer and great shot! And I agree I also am shooting the QAD exodus broadheads for the first time this year and the 2 deer I've got with them I have been very impressed. I really like them and they fly just like my field tips

I think we are doing just fine but the average winning team each member scores around 110 points if I remember right

I believe we are in the middle to upper 1/3 of the pack. We're in good shape. There is still a lot of season left for several of us.

Getting ready to head over to the in-laws. Hopefully this SW wind moves around to the NW quickly this morning.
Maybe with the Super Moon, we'll get Super movement!

In the stand again for what seems to be a sauna session. Little warm for November 14th. May hunt tomorrow morning then wait until Friday to try again.

Man this team is awesome!! I've never been on a team that talks this much or continues to put forth this much effort even when things are cooperating!!!
