Last year my team used GroupMe to chat during the season. I can't say I remember how they set it up but it worked pretty well. I definitely think that keeps the team a little more motivated through the season. I kind of like to to learn peoples real names too, makes it a little more personal but I know some people don't care to share that.

My name is Matt if I hadn't said that before.

I'm in the witness protection program...............................:alien:
but you can call me Carter.

Yes, it is my first name. There are very few my age with that name. Now it seems really popular with younger children.

The GroupMe thing would be fine but I'm not sure what it is or how to do it. Heck. It took me 3 hours last night to come up with an avatar. I'm glad ETABNT came up with a name. We'd never have a name if I had to come up with it.

As soon as I hear from most/all of our team whether we want the avatar I came up with I'll let Fitz know. The best thing is that we don't have to put in for an alternate!!!

Don't lie, your last name has to end in a vowel. Like Zinketti. I've met very few Anthony's that weren't Italian.

Lmao! I'm German as German comes! Surprise you didn't joke that my last name was spelled wrong! Most people try to spell my last name with a c because of the element Zinc!

I've tried for the last few years.
First year I fought the GoPro the whole year until I figured out that it was the cameras fault and we were in the process of moving.
Second year I just got tired of worrying more about the filming than the hunting. I'm fairly easily distracted.
This spring. Every time I had it with me, nothing. Every time I didn't, turkeys all over the place. I just gave up.

Anyone looking for a GoPro with lots of options?

I have a really nice gopro that has been in the field but I'm yet to actually film anything worthwhile with it. Very difficult to get good video while hunting by yourself. Some way more talented than myself can make it happen I'm sure but not this guy.

I have attempted to film hunts in the past but being a public land hunter and always having to carry stands in and out, I quickly get wore out from carrying all the equipment. The camera is always the first to come off the pack.

I average around 20 different trees in a year. So we will see how it goes this year.

My name is Nate and I hunt primarily in North Western WI as well as West Central

The only way we'll win is if you pull the trigger Zink, on the bow, not the camera. Remember, the rules state, it is 2 pictures of you AND the deer with your bow. There are no "I couldn't kill one because I didn't have enough light" provisions in the rules. I told you, I only weigh 195 but will weigh a ton by the end of the season. :sheep:
