Just some little bucks and a couple of does and fawns. Not much activity here. I even pulled the card which didn't have much activity on it either as far as larger bucks.

Got the old man out in the woods for the first time in 2 years! The man who taught me almost everything I know about hunting! Awesome to be back in the woods with my hunting partner [IMG]

Well I didn't see anything else. When I got down to check my cameras on the way out it turns out some1 has stolen 3 of my trail cameras. This was on private land!!! To say I am pissed is a understatement!!!!

I don't understand why some people think it is ok to take other people's stuff. I don't care if it is on private or public land, if it doesn't belong to you don't touch it.

We have a few bucks on our trail camera from this last week mostly small ones but we do have this one which I believe we had pictures from this fall of him. I'll be continuing my chase this weekend [IMG]

Back at it this afternoon. Right wind still. We'll see how it goes. Moon comes up at 3:35ish. Hopefully that gets a little movement going.

Wind is swirling tonight, that's dandy. I also am feeling the pressure to get something down before gun deer season and my freezer having only 5 packs of steaks left.

After a very long day in the stand I finally saw a doe with a buck behind her around 4:45. They were moving through the woods about 80 yards out. I stopped the buck with a grunt but he wouldn't leave her. They fed away and with them so did my season.

My buddy ended up with them close and he missed him twice and then missed the big boy we have been chasing at last light. He was a mess, not sure if it was him or if he hasn't shot for a while and something is out of whack with his bow...

    Sorry guys

Saw 4 bucks today. Hunted from the ground and had a big 8 come into 20 yards and was going to shoot him, but he must have seen me move. After getting home and checking my sd card, I saw that he was just a big 3.5yr old so was glad I didn't get the shot. Not going to get out tomorrow because my wife and I are going to the WI Badger/ Illinois game. Will be back at it Sunday afternoon.
