Ended up seeing 6 deer. One little 5 pt was dogging this site and fawn. The others were a doe with 2 fawns getting a drink out of the creek.
Blanked again, I have to figure out where to find deer... May have to book a trip next year. Never dreamed I would have to say that.
Well fellas it was a great 2 days spending time with the family, sad, but a great time seeing everyone and telling stories. Just crossed back into Ohio! I'll be home in about 2 hours then getting everything together and heading out for the 2 1/2 drive to the property. 5.5 hrs of being in the car today is going to drive me crazy lol but I'll be out in the morning, hopefully the wind cooperates and I can get in my new stand I hung and haven't been able to hunt yet this year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I found good blood, bright red and bubbly he's pumping out... found my arrow in the road broke off good penetration.. probably 8-12" so I'm happy with that.. but he ran across the road onto the neighbors land and I've never met them before.. I'm giving it some time before I go knock on doors asking for permission, it's early still. I hope I can get it done.... he would be my biggest buck I've ever got. well Saw 13 Does Saturday night. No bucks. Cant shoot Does til Turkey weekend now. its the Law. Saw a nice 7 this morning going in to work but i aged him at about 2 so i wont shoot him. Sorry fellas. I try to not shoot anything that doesnt sag. Next weekend gonna be cool all week should see some more movement
