Well Peoples. This weekend is the Smoke Pole Opener. I will be sitting in the morning waiting on mr big to get kicked up from all the foot traffic. Dont worry. I only Bow hunt. My land is not big enough to be pea shooting. Besides Smoke Pole Season is a reach out an touch something season. I like the up close n personal. Good luck to you all this weekend.

I'm back in the stand for the evening. I hope I see something to shoot. Haven't seen ant bucks chasing does yet. Even found a few scrapes.. somethings gotta bust loose soon!
I'm going to hunt here at the house in the morning. Not really any signs here that they are chasing at all. More like seeking if anything. The mornings have been cool enough to hunt. Evenings are way too warm. Good Luck everyone!!!
Wanted to hunt tonight so bad but a buddy needed help getting a new snow blower attachment for his new tractor so we went on a road trip to pick it up and of course every field I looked in there was a buck haha oh well, hopefully I'll wake up in the morning and get a hunt in before I head to PA.
