Heading out in the morning for my 1st all day sit. Looks like I will get to try out my new Hawke umbrella. I will also be checking my camera that has been on video mode for 3 weeks in a spot deep in the woods where there was a big scrape last year.
I may try it tomorrow. It is already 69 here and youth season. I finally picked up the youngest ones cold. Yuck. One more week of work then vacation for a week! Good Luck guys!
My vacation officially starts today. I pulled an all nights st work the other night so I came home last night and slept from 6 until now. I feel much better haha. Today I can't hunt, I'm helping move my wife's grandparents into their new house. Tomorrow I'll be back at work finishing up 2 projects, shouldn't take long. Monday I have clas in the morning so I'll try to hunt the mid day. The afternoon is Halloween and it's my daughters first! So won't hunt then. Tuesday I plan to hunt the morning!! We'll probably heading down to the property tomorrow night to start my vacation... Would go tonight but I have a lot of beer to drink tonight lol, the weather isn't looking good... It's clear only 1 day of rain they're calling for but its high 70s and 60s most of the week... It's 63 and windy here in MI. I had 2 does come in an took the shot.. and wouldn't you know it a twig just jumped out and deflected my shot! Dang twig! Never seen it. I didn't miss by much..lo I clipped some hair from her..
I'm gonna spend my early afternoon watching the Michigan vs Michigan state game! Go Blue!! Then I'll be out to hunt tonight... we have rain moving in in the morning.

Bucks been chasing here for the past few weeks. been pretty wind here the past few days. The guy i have been seeing is gonna be hard to tag. he wont come more than 50 yards off the wood line and im about 100 yards away from that 50. gonna have to get creative.

"IF" it helps out, I use to take the week off 2 weeks before gun season. That hasn't done me a bit of good for several years now. I had always had better luck the week before gun season. I'm taking off the week of Nov. 7th.-Nov. 11th. this year. Our gun season starts Nov. 12th. I don't know if I'd tell him to pound salt but I'd wait until the following week to take off. If nothing is happening we can keep each other entertained on SnapChat now that you guys have me on that dang thing.
Just sucks because my 21st birthday is that following week so I'll have to cancel some plans but the with the weather it just seems much better to go that week.. And gun season starts November 28th here so I'm still in the clear Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
