We were planning on it but I didn't have any stands up so we couldn't. I have all of next week off work so I think we'll sneak out and hunt then together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
5 miles away, car is showing 42f and I'm full of Red Bull. The stand I am going to a stand that has never had a morning sit in it.
1sr bit of action, had a doe and fawn walk past at 10yds. I guess I did good with my scent control coz the they walked about 100yds down the trail I came in on.
Nice kill! Congrats to you. That's a new way of putting a quiver on a bow ha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saw a 140+" buck this morning, unfortunately it was on my way to work about 300 yards from my office. Had a couple buddies each take a decent young buck this weekend. I got back from Vegas yesterday afternoon but not in time to get out last night. I packed for my next trip last night so I might be able to slip out for a couple hours tonight but it is unlikely. I'll be back on Friday afternoon planning on hitting it hard this weekend and beyond. It is starting to get good out there, be safe! Good Luck!
I have to use it like that In the one stand I was in because it hits a huge branch when hanging on my bow hook lol I honestly like it that way too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's been all action since I started calling, just had a shooter 8p at 60yds, he walks away and then shows up 10 min later 20yds from me but would not come out of the tree line.
Nice whatever works! I like to take mine off and hang it on the tree when I am in a stand for that very reason of arrows hitting something when I am drawing back....less to worry about Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't believe I'm going to be able to get off until the week of Nov. 6th. Long range guesscast looks like it's supposed to cool off that week!!!
sat last night from 2 til dark. saw some spikes about 35 yards out. then this monster comes blowing thru like a damn train at about 50 yard and kicks up a bedded doe i never saw and runs her in to the pasture across the street. he runs her and runs her. this guy made my last years buck look like a smurf. I would say he would be all of 135 and for East Texas that is a wall hanger. I hope to get him or get him on camera one or the other. cant hunt again til sunday
