saw 3 good sized bucks chasing does last night. to bad it was on the way home an not in the stand. but the bucks were only 300 yards from my house. Sunday funday. will be in touch
Just pulled the cameras at my house and things are just getting so much better!!! I will be hunting all day Monday and Tuesday

My wife, boys, and I went out to dinner with my Dad tonight. Mom is out of town visiting her Mom. Pretty normal evening. We needed to get home to put the chickens up. We ended up getting away from there a little later than I planned. It all worked out just fine. On the way home, going through a neighboring town, we seen this very well put together double drop tine buck, 20 yds from the road. Trying to figure out who has permission on all these properties. Going to have to do a little extra digging to figure this one out.
Sitting at the bar watching the Ohio state game, bartenders son just shot an absolute beast of a 12pt tonight and the guy next to me said he saw 2 8 points chasing a doe in the middle of town a few days ago... Just got back in from putting 2 stands up today boys. I kept Carter and Anthony posted through the day with some videos and pics on how it was going. I'm pretty excited to hunt those spots. One is right in the middle of a white oak corridor. I'm expecting to sit there as long as I can during rut week. Had some brutes walk through there...so the trail camera said! I got a few bucks on camera. Nothing crazy but the first couple pictures are of the 8 point that I had at 60 yards earlier this season. He's a good looking buck, but since his g3's are so short and estimating him at 3 years old, I have decided to pass him. All and all, not a bad buck for these parts. The rest aren't very good pictures but you can see some antlers in them.
