I'm in the stand!! Beautiful evening, just had a shower come through and cooler things off, that was our little front. Hope to see anything tonight! I'll shoot a doe gladly but probably won't shoot a buck unles he's a wall hanger. Good luck whoever is oit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm landed in the stand. First time in this stand. Looking for a doe. Or, like Chris, a wall-hanger would work also.
Won't get to my place until late tonight around midnight or 1 but I'm checking a camera right off the bottom of the driveway so if there's any nice bucks I'll keep y'all posted. Other than that I'll be heading out in the am. Might get a little crossbow action in this weekend if I have to hunt my one blind. All depends on the wind Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had a Boone and Crockett spike come in grunting. Looked to be a 2 year old with probably 30+ inches of antlers. I let him get out to 60 yards and I hit the grunt call hoping for granddad to hear. The spike came running back to 20 yards and stood broadside in a shooting lane. It was beautiful. Just need a little more age on the next one and hope it follows the same script. It was a good overall successful relaxing hunt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good googly moogly!! Those are dandies!! That one facing right at the camera with all those kickers. My gosh! Good luck!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just had a trail camera go down too. It had corroded batteries in it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
she isn't the biggest doe but I couldn't be happier! Shot at 35 yards and she ran 15!! Quartering away I took out liver lungs and heart. Proud of my shot and proud to call it my first deer with a compound. I'll enter her once I get her field dressed and clean up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
