I managed to drag my tired butt up a tree in my local spot. I had a prior commitment with a 16 mile run this morning.

    I'm a little tired. :)

You Suck! My smart phone for a dumba$$ was fighting me. I was trying to get it on both of them when I had to restart my phone. I wouldn't know what to do if you weren't picking on me!

You know you guys are first rate in my book!
I'm probably the least technological person on our team. I completely over loaded my phone with the signal I had. My personal phone is 5 yrs old. I'm just too tight to buy a new one. That's where my work phone comes in to play. The reason I take this to the stand is it has the stylus so I can keep in touch with you guys.
I'm pretty sure that you are just giving me a hard time but wanted to make sure you all know that you guys are my top priority in this game.

That's a fact! These 2 does came in looking for those Bur Oak acorns.
I took a different path to my stand tonight. I had noticed quite a few tracks down the path that we take getting the tractor to the bottoms. It sure paid off this time. I had just pulled my bow up and hung it on the hook. I hadn't even clicked my release on the string yet. I was reaching for my pack to get my range finder and my release when I noticed these 2 does, that always together, coming down the hill towards the acorns. I was able to reach around and get my range finder. My release is on my right side, easy to reach, in case something like this ever happens. I clicked my range finder on my shoulder, release on the string, the rest is history. Them dang RAGE Chisel Tip 2 blades did their job. Double lung, 20 yds, broadside. She went 50 yds.
She measured 5 1/4" from nostril to corner of eye. Not sure how to figure her age but MDC asks this when you check the doe in.

Well my season took a unseen turn.... checked our cams and had a video of 7 coyotes..... one by one the walked by... Guess that could be why we haven't been getting may deer pics.

Goin' to try it again this morning. Can hunt for just a couple of hours. Need to see this buck in person that we have on camera. Not sure if he is a shooter or not.
Good luck to all who make it out.
Pretty sure this is my last hunt for a week. International Lineman's Rodeo is in town next weekend. We have to finish getting ready for that.
Then it is on! I'll live in the stand after that! I'm blessed to have a wife that loves hunting and farm life as much as I do.
