Damn... Haha just checked my trail camera, had 7 does on it at 20 yards from my stand last night, wish I was in it but I'm loading up the truck soon and heading down to the cabin for the night for the first hunt of the year there, hopefully can get some info from the trail cameras and connect with one tomorrow! Don't be too disappointed. The camera at my in-laws doesn't show any bucks at all. I've seen 2 over there so far this year.
Well, I shot a doe tonight but didn't find her yet. I put a good shot on her and there was a ton of blood at first but the blood trail turned to specks so I decided to back out and go find her in the morning. I didn't wanna walk all over what little blood trail there was. I heard her crash and didn't sound like it was too far away so I'm confident she's dead. She's just in some real thick stuff. Temps are suppose to be in the 40's overnight so the meat should still be good.
Hunting a new stand in some oaks over looking a ravine today, scared a deer getting in the stand this morning it's 57 degrees so let's see what happens Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
