Only about 30 min left. Did see a deer about 30 min ago but it had its head down and went into some brunch so I'm not sure what it was. Still time!!

Work has me busy this and next week. Looks like I might have a chance the last week of the month depending on the weather. Not much on hunting when it is sunny and 85.

Yea yesterday was a joke, at almost 90. So far it's nice right now 70 and dark clouds with rain on and off all day.
I had 2 nice bucks cross the road onto my land when I was driving in, that sounds good except my stand is about 300yds away from where they was heading and I was still in the car. But at least I know they are on my property.

The same doe and fawns came bk out at 20yds again for about 15min then another doe came out and started kicking at the fawns then the mother came over and kicked at the other doe. The single doe gave me a shot at 20yds and I took it. She ran off and I lost sight of her at about 100yds. I can see my arrow in the ground but it's stuck in the ground at about 45dgree angle facing the wrong way from where I shot so I guess it deflected inside her coz there is no branches in the way. This could be interesting.

I would like to wait longer but it's staring to rain and shows rain all afternoon. This will not be fun.

Hahaha well we lived up to our stereotype today. We have an engineer leaving for another company...so of course we had to throw a going away party haha

Well done! I'm officially in the stand for my first sit of the season. I forgot to grab dinner before I left work so this is going to be a long sit!

I decided to hunt our low land that has a travel corridor to a white oak ridge. White oak acorns are dropping and i forgot my seat to sit in the blind on the bean field. Hope this turns out well!

Longest shot is about 30 yards for me, which I'm really comfortable with. Hope I see something!
