I'm a little antsy about my bow. Everything was perfect the last time I shot it a few weeks ago, but since I'm following the doctor's advice I won't be able to shoot it at all until just before I walk in to hunt and even then I won't push it. I'll only shoot a couple at 20 & 25 yards to make sure the sight is still on. It's probably not necessary. I haven't had to tweak that Trijicon sight since I changed arrow weight a couple of years ago. All I should need to do is make sure my Slick Tricks spin perfect.
I still have to shoot my bow and dial it in exactly how I want it. Haven't had time to pin point it but I can hit groups out to 75 yards, got some work to do with my bow. It's all about my sight, the trijicon accudial is pretty high tech site I have to mess around with my bow speed to get it dialed in exactly. Just spend one evening messing with it. Everything other than that is ready to go for the 24th! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Heading up to check my cameras in the morning and maybe trim a few stand spots. Will let you guys know what I have for pics.
Bucks still all wearing velvet in northeast Ohio from what I've seen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just looked at the cards. Have a couple nice bucks. One looks to be a nice 8pt outside his ears.. one of the nicer bucks I've see on the property. I've been hunting the property over 30yrs. So I'm excited. For our area he's a dandy. I'll post pics when I get home. There's a couple others that show promise.
This one has me excited. look at the bases of his antlers... for our property and area, he's one of the nicest we've seen... Here the same pic I cropped in closer. Looks like the front one is a nice 7pt. His bases a heavier than any I've seen on camera in a long time...
Just checked my cams yesterday and nothing's really changed yet besides a couple bucks being out of velvet! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So first off, a critter we don't like to see on the farm... Here is a coyote in the same general spot so you can get a comparison of the size difference There was actually two of them in one pic
