Well it's all bad news. Only 1 spike and the rest was does and fawns. The cameras has only been out for a week so that's a positive. I won't be going bk till about the 10th. Every year for the last four years I have seen 130"+ while in the stand so I still have high hopes.

Was on my way down to the cabin with my buddy (2hr drive) and his trucks distributor decided it was time to go... Now on my way back home to get my truck to put stands up.. Gonna be a long night/day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Went out and watched the same field on the public land that I posted the video of and saw 2-3 shooters tonight. Got video of them but I will have to see how much they degrade by loading them onto Youtube. There was a couple guys checking the field when I first got there, but they left right away since there wasn't any deer the field. I have a pretty good idea where to sit on opening day if they don't too much pressure from spotters and shiners before then.
I tell you what it's nice to jump in that after a cold morning sit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I bet it is. Where we use to hunt, the only running water we had was the water that ran off the roof after a rain.
Well got everything done, stands hung an cameras all up.. Kinda bummed the one camera I had running since April caught a stupid tall blade of grass and filled my SD card up... 8gb of grass lol hadn't taken a picture since June 23. Oh well fixed the problem and I'm looking forward to relaxing until the season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Loading up the goose neck to head over to the in-laws to plant fall plot. Hopefully it isn't too wet. Was starting to dry yesterday when we were there. Anyone that is bored, come on over.
